Overview

The V60 Brewers Cup India 2026 is HARIO India's pour-over competition, run with ThreeSixty as regional rounds that lead to a National Championship. Authentic8 is its authentication partner: every judge, winner and participant receives a printed certificate with an Authentic8 NFC chip sealed to a live digital record.

The Mumbai Regional Round was held on 10 October 2026 at The Craftery by Subko, Mumbai. The Calicut Regional Round followed on 7 November 2026 at Aspin Courtyards, Beach Road, Calicut, with the Kerala Coffee Festival as regional organiser.

Challenge

A printed certificate is easy to copy and hard to check. Anyone can print one, and the person receiving it can only show the paper and ask to be believed.

And once it is handed over, the brands that made the event possible have no further part in it. Their logo is printed once, seen in the room, and then filed away with the certificate.

Solution

Each certificate carries an NFC chip in its top-right corner. A tap with any phone opens the holder's verified record: name, role, round, category, date and venue, marked Verified, with the record's fingerprint kept on the blockchain.

The same page carries the event's authentication sponsor, Ethik, with a link straight to its store, photographs from the round, and a button to share the achievement with friends and family.
